My kids LOVE these fun retro Gluggle jugs from Wade Ceramics. Fish shaped in vibrant, highly glazed colours they are perfect for the dinner table and particularly alfresco dining or even as a vase or utensil storage. The 'glug glug' noise is infectious when you pour and you will be the talk of the town (or your table at least). Some of my friends have one for red wine, one for white wine and one for pimms ! These should be cherised and passed down the generations. A real pop of colour that you can't help smiling at when you glimpse it in your kitchen.
The Gluggle Jug’s most recent rise to popularity came in the mid-1900s, when Dartmouth Pottery began producing their own range and a pair of bespoke jugs were gifted to the Royal Family on a visit to the Britannia Naval College in 1958.
